Adjustable Glass-Lined Oven
The vaporizer is equipped with a glass-lined ceramic oven that utilizes conduction heating and holds up to 0.7 grams of dry herb. An adjustable zirconia pearl is integrated into the oven lid, which can be turned to reduce the chamber size. This allows for the efficient vaporization of smaller amounts of material, catering to users who prefer microdosing or want to conserve their herbs without needing to fully pack the chamber.
Zirconia Airpath and Cool Core
To maintain flavor purity, the DaVinci IQ3 incorporates a sealed vapor path constructed from zirconia and glass, materials chosen for their non-reactive properties. The vapor travels through a removable zirconia component known as the “Cool Core” flavor chamber before reaching the mouthpiece. This chamber is designed to cool the vapor, providing a more comfortable inhalation experience while preserving the nuanced profiles of the material being used.
Dual Temperature Control Modes
The device offers two distinct heating modes. The four preset Smart Paths™ gradually increase the temperature over an 8-minute session, creating a dynamic experience. For more specific control, Precision Mode allows for temperature adjustments with an accuracy of +/- 1 degree, reaching a maximum of 430°F (221°C). The vaporizer provides haptic feedback to signal once the desired temperature has been reached in approximately 30 seconds.
Removable 4000mAh Battery
Powering the IQ3 is a removable and rechargeable 21700 lithium-ion battery with a 4000mAh capacity. A fully charged battery provides a runtime of up to 90 minutes, depending on usage. The device features a USB-C charging port, and a full charge takes approximately 3 hours. It also supports pass-through charging, which allows for use while it is plugged into a power source, enhancing its convenience and usability.
